About The Author

Hi, I’m Saurab Manglani. I’m a multidisciplinary artist, storyteller, and designer, and for over two decades, I’ve dedicated my life to bringing imagination to life through words, rhythm, and visual art.
My journey into writing children's books is deeply personal. As a father raising a whirlwind toddler right here in New Delhi, India, I’ve learned firsthand to face the daily challenges of parenthood with a smile and a healthy dash of silliness. It’s this beautiful, chaotic reality that inspires my funny, relatable, and rhyming children’s books.
Beginning with my debut illustrated book, A Different Laugh, my stories focus on helping kids navigate emotional regulation, grit, and building a growth mindset. I love celebrating visual wit, toddler resilience, and the creative satisfaction that comes from finding atypical fixes for outlandish challenges. Because of this, my work stands out as the perfect bedtime story for toddlers and early readers alike.
My unique ability to craft engaging books for kids stems from my deep roots as a professional lyricist, spanning more than twenty years across both Hindi and English. That background gives my picture books (perfect for ages 2–8) a signature musical cadence that makes them a true joy to read aloud.
Beyond the written word, I am also an accomplished textile and graphic designer proficient in Canva and Adobe Photoshop, which allows me to seamlessly marry my text with layout harmony. Through my expanding collection of witty values books for kids, my ultimate goal is to spark a lifelong love for reading in children all around the world.
Thank you for visiting my author page, and I hope my stories bring as much joy, laughter, and learning to your bedtime routine as they do to mine!
